and a new amp from myself, not sure what I am getting there for myself

got a metric buttload of gear this year so I asked for a couple trees of lights and a dmx controller for the band to use so we dont have to rent anymore

I bought myself a new amp last week. Its's an Italian amp made by SR Technology. It's a Jam 150 Plus. It' essentially a powered PA speaker main for acoustic guitar and vocals. 150 watts, with a built in 6 channel mixer on the top. High end gear. The line is owned by Schertler, a high end acoustic guitar amp company. The unit I bought is made for any instrument. Although I bought it for my six string acoustic and vocals, it's good enough for bass. I tried it out at my weekly gig in a small pub.

A couple of weeks ago I was given a carved double bass, two sets of strings, and loads of double bass parts.

Got an early gift from a friend in America. A parcel containing:
1)A padded DB gigbag.
2)A small gouge chisel
3)3 straight chisels
4)Loads of screwdrivers
5)Titanium-tipped drill bits
6)Japanese saw
7)Scraper
8)Knives
9)A book - useful measurements for violin makers
10)Rubber endpin tip

And I've also asked for a ton of bass books from various different people (I'm allowed to, I'm 15!)

Nothing yet, Christmas is tomorrow. I did pick up a Memphis P copy a few days ago and it's definitely a player, so I might just call that my Christmas gift to myself.

If the family has been listening, hopefully I'll get a nice stripped AR15 lower
