Whatcha watching?

I'm 2 episodes in. I'm liking it, but the writing seems to have gotten sloppy compared to the first few seasons. Aside from the whole upside down alternate dimension stuff, there's a lot of things that aren't internally consistent. I really liked the 4th season with the bunker lab and El's back story. So far, this last season isn't grabbing me as much. It's also a shame they couldn't have done the whole series before the kids grew up.
I mean, it feels a little rushed, but the payoffs in this parcel's final episode is great.

Turned on the TV because Ken Burns is talking about America again. Also watched the last/newest episode 9 of the Beatles Anthology.

Turned it off until baseball or 'A Very Charlie Brown Christmas'. Whichever comes first this year. I still dig the way that kid dances.
Shake a tail feather. Mashed Potato! And what about the Frug?

Slow Horses on Apple TV; Gary Oldman having fun playing the world weary head of an MI5 reject division that stumbles through.
Down Cemetary Road is good too also on Apple. Emma Thompson is great as a similarly world weary private investigator.
Pluribus is another interesting one.
I couldn't stay with Severence. It just didn't work for me.

While looking for live content in Japanese to help a bit with immersion in learning the language, I came across Weather News Japan and have put it on in the background at times. It's... unique. Much of it is weather and photos from around the country, from what I can tell, but there's also some Japanese Idol type stuff, which can get a bit odd. Then there are moments of joyous silliness, like from 25 to 27 minutes in this:

Anyway, I'm now streaming-subscription-less (mostly using Kanopy through my library) but tempted by Prime for the second season of Fallout.

Apple is said to be ponying up ~ $18 million per episode... and you see a lot of that on the screen. And the reviews are generally raves.

I watched the first two episodes. I dig it. Very interesting sci fi concept I haven't seen before. Kim Wexler is understandably perturbed, but I hope she gets her **** together and stops freaking out in every scene. It's kinda annoying.
