What kind of guitar is this going in?
Schecter Devil Spine: 3 piece mahogany set neck w/ebony fretboard, mahogany body, bridge pickup only - EMG 81, volume knob only, Grover tuners, Kerly Kues Nickel Jazz Heavy strings... its a screamer! Got it new for $350 from MF last year, one of their last available since Schecter doesn't make these anymore.
You can't see it in the photo but the graphics are sparkly silver (like a speed boat), and kinda glow under stage lights. heh, metal..

I got this for my lady friend to make noise with in our space/metal project (bass, guitar, drums...warp speed rhythm, space madness, hot green alien babe screaming insanities, etc...). She finds the EMG 81 too shrill for her taste (go figure, EMG 81, shrill?). A single bridge pickup for metal is a bit ear piercingly brutal (which is cool in small doses). The Crunch Lab bridge pickup is supposed to round off the highs a bunch, tame the mids to be less twangy, and boost the lows a bit... I guess. This is an experiment in progress, so we'll see.
I may route a neck pickup in there some day, to give her more flexibility. For now, she just wants to make interesting noises with the thing. Her current gas is a Ringworm w/Copilot Broadcast.
Thanks to this forum, she understands what GAS is all about, and is totally infected, heh heh heh!
