STOP PUSHING YOUR NON-BOOTEAQU AGENDA. pushy pushy Boss man. LS-2 looks too damn..... useful. i don't like the jack placement though.

i think....... i'd love to have a small ass box with an input and output on the face. with a volume for each channel. and a toggle to choose where each input was going. would make it kind of like a patchbay/stereo output/blender/mixer box. jacks on the top would make it way more convenient to patch in another board or a laptop or something without having to move stuff around on the board.

could have it so Input 1 (bass) goes out Output 1 (like a normal signal path) while Input 2 (drum machine etc) goes out Input 2 and run stereo. or switch Input 2 to Output 1 and blend them into the same mono signal into a cab. OR go Input 1 -> Output 2 which would run into a second board, second board output into Input 2 -> Output 1 and it's a patch bay with an inserted chunk of effects.

something like this maybe?

sound good? anything stupid about that i'm missing?

I have a micro and black label; that was a good move on your part. the black label is like the micro, but adjustable. hmmm, maybe i should switch up too.

Congratulations on the new Gambino!

Thanks mang. The extra flexibility of the Black Label makes it way more useful. And no annoying volume jump. Try 'er out.

In other news the PS-6 is the freakin' awesome. So much fun to be had.:bassist: I just spent 4 hours messing with it and I'm going back for more. Sorry roommates.:):bassist:

Yep, the volume jump was annoying... I sent my micro to mxr and they lowered the output by 3db, and gave me a new knob. Didn't charge me a thing either, love those guys. Still, just a little more control would be nice. Enjoy!

woof. got a OnTheTundra DOD 440 clone and a Culturejam Babylon Fuzz MKIII in a secret santa thing....... mein GOTT they sound good. so much happy.

and a check-it-out tourboxy Red Panda Labs Particle. it's a pitch shifty grainy delay thing. been just smiling my ass off wobbling around with all that.

ZOOOM.

I like the sound of "pitch shifty grainy delay thing". Sounds intriguing.

Going: Markbass Chorus/Flanger.....it sold. Comeduhayayhaw. Someone with a better ear for modulation will give it a better home than I ever did.

Coming: Infanem Second Voice (with exp pedal jack added).....I'm going to be Behndy for Halloween....and I guess I'm going to need another Moog EP-2.

yeah. tomorrow is all dedicated to doing some recordings. i have an FXDoctor Bit Bass Fuzz i need to get back to him after i do a clip, those two are AWESOME, the Particle is..... man. it's so good. it's pretty deep too. there's a lot going on. but after the PolyGrace? ME. OW.

gonna try to do 3 or 4 video things tomorrow.

i've just been giggling and wanking (with the bass you sickies. the BASS.) for the last 2 hours. my neighbors probably aren't digging horrible noises at midnight, but **** 'em. they bump classical (some that i dig) way too loud all the time.

one of the coolest unintentional compliments i've ever heard? i was doing hellza noise midday before practice one time, my last neighbor who was this sorta burnt out older Cuban stoner dood asked me on the way to the car, "hey..... did you start playing keyboard? i thought i heard a bunch of broken synth stuff a while ago?".

almost hugged the man.

going: AMT SS-20 neat guitar tube preamp/distortion, but ultimately, not what I need for that price

coming (to replace it): Barber Dirty Bomb; gonna mess with this guy on my bass board before I hook it up to my gf's guitar board. Looking forward to both experiences. :)

good choice suh!

OR you could get an Expressionator. they're gonna be selling them soonish i think. SO DAMN USEFUL.

i'm off to GC to pick up a Komplete Audio 6 USB interface. i'm using an ART USB Dual Pre at the house right now and.... i kinda.... hate it. it sound good, but it doesn't have any dedicated drivers. i'm usuing the ASIO4all driver, which is awesome that they wrote it and put it out there, but it's a little buggy with some programs. since i'm pretty much only running Native Instruments stuff right now, might as well grab THEIR interface.

plus the ****ing ART doesn't let more than one program use it at a time. almost useless. and DEFINITELY annoying.

also, the NI interface comes with Cubase 5. it's the LE version but that's plenty for what i need right now.

Just a word on the VFE bumblebee... Peter is a great guy to deal with and his construction is top notch. The effect is way cool and very versatile. It is a little tricky to dial in a flawless function with a raw signal. Using a compressor before really brings the effect to life and makes it insanely consistent. Using an octave or a gated fuzz in front of it makes it downright pant-tenting.
