Hell, I look forward to the issue of lugging around a board or two...that'll mean that -

A) I have a BUNCH more pedals than the current collection

and (even better)

B) I have a gig

woof. i know. i miss gigging. we're getting close though. got about 30 minutes of stuff with just me and the drummer, gonna start looking for a guitar dooder soon. i am EXCITE. it's been....... crap. almost 20 years since i played with a guitarist? might take a hinute though, i have a pretty specific idea in what i want. it's just.... right now...... there's so much startup stuff going on i like to have a butt-load of stuff to draw on.

SCORE Delta!

very cool. you're gonna love it! i'd feel bad for Jwar but he IS getting a Franta out of it. hard to be mad at that.

The TZ2 has a volume knob...
That right there solves the potential problem, then...the Guyatones I mentioned earlier didn't have such.

so I guess you are like me then and don't take everything to practise?!?
Considering that most all of my practice is solo in either the bedroom or the den here at home, moving my boards isn't all that big a thrill. When the for-real gigs do come tho, I'll haul them wherever, whenever...no issues there.

I wish I could justify two boards. That'd be fun.

i forget who's rhyme i'd be stealing (Tigerbass?), but i like the idea of a patch in in the middle of the signal chain. might go that route.

also, about to move the M9 to the middle instead of at the end. i was playing with delay -> fuzz instead of the reverse..... and i think..... i think i like that a lot moar.

plus, it'd be more useful to have a looping point that can be clean or dirty by itself or be clean going into pedals that are tweaked afterwards.

hee. tweaked. MY BOARD'S GONNA BE MORE NIPPLE-LIKE SOON.

rarrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Going: nothing

Just in:
  • Loooper 2 loop box
  • Iron Ether Oxide
  • Iron Ether Xerograph Deluxe
  • Moog MP-2 (for Xerograph)
  • Subdecay Noisebox
No board yet, so here's a mess of cables!

On the way:
  • Pedaltrain PT-2
  • Copilot Cubic
  • custom Copilot Broadcast

Mssr. Sssr. :D I couldn't resist.

IN: newly rehoused BugBrand BugCrusher (by yours truly - expect threadage soon)

COMING: SA MWBD. I have hopes of it replacing my ODB3, so we'll see how it works at making big-boom-splattypants.

GOING: DBX 160A (if anyone ever gets any money :( ), PT boosters and PTPro, and pedalboard real estate.

coming: Strymon Timeline (shipped today!)

going: MY FREAKING SANITY!!!! (trying to wire a new pickup into my GF's guitar...and...it...just....refuses....to....freaking....work!). sigh... sorry guys, just going a little mad here... time to email DeMarzio...again... (at least they're good people there in the tech dept).

Just keep double checking the wiring diagram (iffun ya got one and aren't doing fancy footwork with many pretty shiny switches) and she'll get to purrin' and a'scratchin in no time!

And Behnrorz- nay. I have 2 BugBrand crushing units (snarfsnarf) - one is the older one with the stomp/ clean - dirty toggle/ 4 knobbies. It was in a MASSIVE enclosure and there was so much dead space I thought I could cram it into a 1590B I had lying around. And I did. And it works. And it's TTTIINNNYYY. I feel as if I cheated on Mr. Bugs and the BugBrand community by "ruining" his design, but it just looks so damned cool and is WAY more pedalboard friendly. I shan't dare touch the newer (and newly discontinued) MicroCrusher.

yeah. that's damn sexy. i have a passive mixer that i've been thinking about trying that with. i dunno if it's too quiet though. gonna have to play with that.

Passive mixers usually don't cut it in this sort of situation. a blend or loop pedal would work pretty well though.

A badger schism or LS-2 would be a good way to balance everything too.
