In: VT Bass V2 and ElectroniX GeminiDrive (sorry Vlad, but enjoy your B3K), that just came in the mail... woohoo

The GeminiDrive has such a nice sound to it, over an amazing range. Like the tone so much more than the VT, but the VT was always going to go near the end to add a little character and not act as an overdrive.

COMING: Behringer UV-300 Ultra Vibrato. (gonna re-house, make true bypass, add a mod to lower the rate and an extra footswitch to switch between rates, and change out the LEDs....)

Caps, new case, switches and LOTS of research!

Heh, no worries. The B3K satisfies my overdrive needs, though I'd still like to try a Gemini Drive some day. Enjoy!

If it wasn't $50 to mail it to you I would definitely have done a short term swap so we could satisfy both our curiosities. I really would dig trying out the B3K, however, after a few short minutes of trying the GeminiDrive I was overwhelmed at its tone and flexibility, and was sent straight to overdrive nirvana.

hey Dazon! i might be going out to Japan around January. i'll probably be in Sasebo (Nagasaki) and Tokyo for a bit. if that's close to you (i'm crap with the geography out there) i could bring my B3k along for you to try out for a bit.

Super cool offer. Would make the trip out to Tokyo for that. Sasebo and Tokyo are on opposite sides of the country though :eyebrow: so if you are going by train stop in Nagoya and I could show you around there. Another TBer is also living in the area that may want to join in. (Man with an Axe)

To make up for snagging Vlads must try overdrive, would you be willing to let him have a go of your GeminiDrive? If you agree to that I will paypal you the cost of posting it to him.

lol. i was talking about bringing my B3k. i have one of those and a Gemini right now. the Gemin's headed out to a friend's tomorrow though.

cool. i'll hit you up when i know for sure when i'm going out there and where.
