The BEF was just to much for me. I'm not much of a filter guy. For the limited use I have for a filter that I have, my Pigtronix EP-2 does the job nicely, plus it combines as a Phaser.(I guess the BEF does that too, I just preferred my EP-2) The Filter/Phaser has been pretty useful for me.

As for the Xero, its an awesome filter as well. I really didn't want to sell it, but needed cash to fund other pedals and pay off part of the SVT VR I just bought. It wouldn't surprise me If I pick up another Xero somewhere down the line. Its got a great filter voicing.

Back from NYC today. Traded a Fender Jazz bass Deluxe in on some new pedals...

Got a Melekko B:ASSMASTER!!!!!
Also brought home a ZVEX Mastotron to toy with. Hoping to get a few good synthy gated tones from in.

All in all it was cool. I even played through two Love tone pedals in NYC!!! Teh Wooble one and the octave one. Sorry, I looked at so much gear yesterday, my mind is a blur.
