Supposed to come: Yamaha FC-7 expression pedal
Actually came: Roland FC-7 foot controller, at price more appropriate to the above (a fraction of the cost)
I called the Guitar Center I got it from back, they said I could keep it if I wanted it, which I'm going to do in the hopes of flipping it and putting the $$$ toward something else...

GASsing for badly: Modfactor, Beatbuddy if they ever start their Kickstarter, Pedal Power Mondo

have you looked at the H9? it's a tad more espensive than the 'Factor pedals, but it is pretty amazing.

I would be looking to get the Modfactor used, so it's an even bigger price difference. I don't like that the H9 restricts you to one effect at a time, I already have a Pitchfactor, and I don't really need anything from the Timefactor. So I think I would rather just get the Modfactor and have all of its effects available rather than buying the ones I want.

If you have tried the EQD Grand Orbiter, please share your opinion on the difference in sound character, I'm quite interested in making a switch as the GO is on the dark side.

Not only have I tried one but owned one for a brief while. I dug the darker side of it and never had issues with getting lost in the mix (and that was back when I played with 2 guitarists!). REALLY dug the vibe side but overall I felt like I needed more options (if you've seen my board you'll understand I love to have lots of options).
Compared to the PH-2 it had more volume and a darker character but couldn't get as crazy as the PH-2 can.
An excellent phaser that plays really well with dirt

Maybe going: Moog Midi MuRF, EP-2, tap tempo switch...looks like the PP2+ can't power the Midi MuRF. So, I can either return it, or look into a CIOKS. I dig the MuRF, but don't know about this added expense.
I might exchange the DT SR for an Empress comp. Haven't decided yet. The delay was already the exchange from a Randy's Revenge. Not having good luck with new things I guess.

Echorec is a very unique delay, that thing has sh**loads of character.
The multihead programs are awesome for exploring different rhythmic possibilities. The warbly modulation sounds really good, although it can be toned down if it's not your thing, and the repeats decay in a very natural way turning into beautiful ambient wash. More defined repeats and less wash can be achieved by powering it with 12-18V. More voltage = more definition.
The gain structure of the ER is something very unique, it can distort ever so slightly depending on how hard you dig in and how hard you drive it. Gain, as with the modulation, can be adjusted via internal trimpots.
Overall, the ER is an instrument in itself and must played, not just switched on.

I was very impressed with the build quality, the packaging, the high gloss docs inside the box. It was a quiet pedal when engaged, and using the expression pedal with it was kind of cool. However, it just isn't worth $300+ dollars to me. I'd rather put that money towards a CIOKS and keep the Midi MuRF, which I think I would use much more often than the DT SR. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest that the other versions of the DT aren't great bang for the buck performers. The SR just wasn't that for me. I always find a more simple, direct delay works well with bass, and the bleeding parallel vs series SR options were kinda of lost on me. It sounded great with my guitar, but I didn't buy it for that.
Hey thanks for the opinions and input. I got the middle one in a pretty decent trade so I'm pretty sure I'll be pleased either way. You never know until you play it though right?!?
