Let me know what you think about the OCD man. I LOVE that pedal. Probably my fav OD/dist. It's just got this flavor and tone that bites right through the mix. It does take a little bottom end out but I don't mind for the band I'm in. Running through the B7K, which I know you have, it KILLS IMO. I'll probably use the OCD forever. Well, as long as I use pedals or any type of dist. Between that, my VMT, B7K and ODB3, I'm extremely happy.
I have so many Od pedals, but I just needed to try it out. I have an Ls2 so I can mix some dry back in, but it sounds good so far. Come to think of it I can a monte allums modded ODB3 here somewhere...........

I was looking for a little more subtlety in terms of an 'always on' OD, which I don't the ODB-3 can do, hence the VMT. Don't get me wrong; I really like the ODB-3 but I find the VMT can do subtle OD better. Either way I'm keeping the ODB-3. I has it's own unique character and I think it's too good to get rid of.
Coming: vintage reissue of the DOD OD/preamp 250. I couldn't resist the price tag on it where I found it at. Can't afford it but, man this thing looks so cool. Hope it sounds even better.
I tried an OCD (both my guitarists use them) and liked the tone but couldn't take the low-end loss. I'm going to try out a Fuzzrocious Demon this weekend to see if they've managed to keep the best parts of the distortion tone but preserve the low-end a bit better.

How are these same and how are they different? I have an LPB1 but I dig it. Not using on my main board at the moment though.
Well, I use the LPB-1 for two things. First for boosting the input into my Ashdown LB-30, basically acting a a pre-gain, or to boost the input into my Cave Passive Super Grunt.
I love the LPB-1, it is great, cheap, clean. However, I wanted something smaller to accommodate other pedals. I was looking at the JHS Mini Bomb Boost and the SFX Micro Boost. I simply got a good deal on the Micro EQ form the classifieds, much cheaper than ordering a new Micro Boost and it does more than just a normal clean boost with it's EQing capability.
So, basically, I use it as a boost that happens to be clean, small, and can also add EQ capability. Does that make any sense?

Most def makes sense, thanks for the input. I really dig the LPB1. Wish I found more ways to use it. I don't need a boost anymore. I got it originally to boost a behringer trem but have since got the EQD hummingbird, which doesn't need a boost at all, and it lost out to real estate and other pedals.
Are u talking about the fulltone OCD or the fuzzrocious oh see demon? Most guitarist use OCD which loses sone low end. The oh see demon from what I understand retains your low end
FYI due to legal matters, from what I understand, it is officially called the "Demon" now and the Demon King remains the OCD clone deluxe pedal.
I have a Demon pedal and it is definitely much more suited for bass than the OCD. If you want more info on it, I recommend looking at the Fuzzrocious club thread.

It was the only way I could include the Midi MuRF with the rest of my set-up. Brian at Pedalshark was super helpful in figuring out how to include everything I wanted in my current set-up. So, shootout to Brian!
