What's coming and going XVII: The Relapse

Coming:
Squier VM Bass VI (hurry up already)
Squier VM Telecaster Special

Here:
Tronographic Rusty Box

Going:
Aguilar Tone Hammer
IE Frantabit

Got the Rusty Box in yesterday...it's so great. I switched from a BDDI to the tone hammer because I didn't like how it was muting my effects that were forced to come before it. It made my fuzzes and synth sounds sound muffled and weak. I loved the tone hammer when I got it because it eliminated that problem, but I found myself missing the stronger tone shaping of the BDDI (I play without an amp). I had to try the last contender, knowing I could flip it or sell the tone hammer and basically break even. The Rusty Box fixes both aforementioned problems for me - more aggressive tone shaping and it actually makes effects in front of it sound better.

COMING:

MXR Phase 100: really dig the tones in it and think that it's a good overall functional phaser. 10-stage phasing is my favorite! Plus I scored one for 40 bucks.

Mission Expressionator: I've wanted one for YEARS so I used the extra funds from my phaser fun so get one of these beasts. I paid less than 170.00 at PGS. Also ordered some colored TRS cables to hook up whatever 3 pedals I settle on.

Coming: SFX Micro Red Dragon, Wounded Paw Blender v4 H2

Will be going when I get the new wounded paw: Wounded Paw Blender v4 f

The noise floor is supposedly greatly improved on the new version so I will try it out. Still debating whether or not I will remove the lpb-1 from the board.

Forgot to mention, I bought my ditto the day after I heard about here on TB so don't beat yourself up too much.

Actually it is a very cool and simple pedal. Cute too.:D Amazing how tiny it is.

I don't see using it much at gigs but it will be a great practice tool and lots of fun to play around with.

I told my band during rehearsal I will use it every time we play boring 1-4-5 blues tune during a gig. Loop the pattern.... And go for a beer or a pee!

It is likely a keeper. Plus, I have JUST enough room left on my board for the Ditto and my B3K... which should be in my hands this week.:hyper:
