To Baird, yes, the ditto is sweet for home practice use. Soloing practice especially. I have yet to find it useful in a live setting. I've heard others have used it live though at times. The small footprint and simplicity of the pedal is a great plus. It's unreal that you can do two loops at once and play over them and for 5 min. Score for sure. Very useful tool depending on the setting.

I've used it live on a couple solo gigs. Worked great. Haven't tried it with other players yet though.

Maybe it's a little more adjustable. I've personally not used a Flashback, but I know the Nova has different rhythmic subdivisions, and compound subdivisions, and 2 different kinds of modulation, as well as a pretty rad reverse mode. I haven't a clue if the flashback also has those things.

The nova is cheaper new, FWIW.

Dedicated tap tempo switch seems like the most important difference to me.

I was a Flashback devote for many years. The Zoom CDR covers all of the Nova and Flashback turf (minus the looper and tone prints). I bought it for a few of the quirkier sounds, but it quickly replaced my Flashback.
