A guy from Sweetwater called me like an hour after I bought it and asked if I meant to skip the signature at the door. Talked to him about bass (he plays too) for about ten minutes.

Talk about customer service. Soon to be repeat customer.

The thing is, that guy is now your "sales engineer". Keep buying things, and they'll cut you deals. Also, they all tend to be fairly knowledgeable.

In: 2 x 1-Spot. I just ran out of juice from my 16xAA battery pack once I got my new blender that steps up voltage internally. So far one 1-spot seems fine for all my pedals but I may split the pedalboard into two power chains so we will see. So far, pretty much no noise being created by the 1-spot.

I've always had great luck with 1spots. I run 18 pedals off of three 1spots. No hum or noise issues, it's great.

Haven't posted anything in a while. School, work, life, and GTA V have kept me very busy lately.

Out: Peavey VB2
In: GK MB800 (sick deal from RMC Audio)

Fulltone Bassdrive MOSFET Clone
Probably my favorite OD to date. I've been working on this thing for about 3 months, off and on. I'm thinking about building a separate 18v charge pump to beef it up. Also thinking about building a blend pedal to blend in a teeny weeny amount of bass back in with the rest of my distortion pedals.

Coming: Ernie Ball Cobalt 5 string set. I heard they're pretty sweet. My strings are dead as fluff.

I run 19 pedals off 1!

Well, I tried earlier in the evening with 12 off of 1 and it worked flawlessly. Now I have it running off of two because I know I will have at least one more pedal on the board soon and maybe one or two more coming eventually.

As much as I loved my battery experiment, I don't want to go and increase my powerpack from 16 to 24 or 32 AAs as it will become just too complicated to recharge.

I was dreading having to buy a PedalPower Mondo or something similarly expensive to get good sound out of an AC source. However, these one spots are just crazy quiet. I will admit that the Lehle DC filter might tame the signal a bit and the chain is buffered at input, at output (MThump at start, T1M buffer at end), and in the middle (WP Blender). Still, can't take away from the 1-Spots, they are great.

Holy hell. How the heck you do that? Just keep connecting daisies??

Yup! All 19 pedals with no hiss, added noise or any artifacts I can detect. Here is what I have connected:

Boss OC-2: synth mod
Wooly Mammoth clone
Behringer BSY-600 Bass Synth
Fuzzrocious Terrordactyl
Sovtek Russian Big Muff
Way Huge Swollen Pickle
Infanem Second Voice MK-I v.2
Tech 21 Red Ripper
WMD Super Fatman
WMD Geiger Counter: bass mod
MXR Phase 100
Boss BF-2 Flanger
MSLP custom lo-fi delay/cave reverb/Lo-Fi looper
EHX Cathedral
Boss LMB-3 Bass Limiter
MSLP custom noise suppressor
TC Electronic Polytune Mini

I'll have to try that. The reason I went with three separate ones was because I was having noise issues but after I hooked up my board so many times through the last few months and all the pedals that have come, mainly on, on and off my board it's hard telling what the noise was issuing from. I always liked the fact I had an extra couple of spots open on the power strip I have connected underneath my board and now I miss them become they are taken up by the third 1spot I hooked up. So maybe I'll give the long daisy a try tomorrow.

In:
Squier VM Cabronita
Akai MPK Mini
iKlip Studio

Coming:
Squier VM Bass VI
TV Jones Filtertron-sized P90
A sweet custom pickguard for that Cabronita
EV ZLX15P Speaker

Going:
Squier Fat Strat
Ampeg BA-108

Gonna be playing synth, bass, and guitar through one speaker now. Consolidated my ipad synth setup to fit on my old PT-3 by using the MPK Mini instead of the Synthstation 49. Small keys aren't bothering me since its for more pad and drone type sounds (using my bandmates little phatty for dat bass).
