These two just showed up at work for me:

Now, where the crap do I put them in my signal chain?

So far I'm running Boss TU-2 --> Boss ODB-3 --> EHX BBM --> Boss PH-3 --> Digitch Multi Chorus.

Octave after tuner? Wah goes.... ????

I'd put the wah after the BBM, but it depends on whether you like the sound of wah-->dirt or dirt-->wah. I greatly prefer the latter. And I don't use a pedal tuner, but yeah I'd probably put it after the TU-2.

Curious to hear your thoughts on the Wilson. Is it a QWah or the Freaker? I'm very close to pulling the trigger on one myself.

I have an inkling I will end up with dirt--> wah. Modulation just seems to work better after dirt for me. And I'm defnitely thinking microPOG after tuner.

The Wilson is a 12-Position Stock Q-Wah w/LED. Out of all the soundclips I heard, this one smoked the most, I thought, so I said what the heck. I'd love to do soundclips, but since I don't have the capability, the best I can do is post tonight or tomorrow on whether it is awesome, or totally awesome. :D

I have dirt before and after that wah and I like dirt before it.

+1 to dirt->wah option. I find that wah gets lost depending on the dirt if you run wah->dirt.

As for the µPOG (:D), I'd run it after the wah. IME the µPOG has AWESOME tracking wherever it is in the chain, and if its before the wah then the octave down will prolly get filtered out. I also didn't like POG->dirt either. If there's ANY lowend loss in the dirt, your octave down is killed as well.

Try it every which way tho, especially with the BBM having a blend mode IIRC.

Well, i never had any pedals, then in March I caught the bug. Since March, I have purchased the following:
Behringer Chorus
Behringer Compressor/Limiter
Behringer VB1 (envelope Filter)
Behringer Phaser (love this thing, just got it yesterday)
Boss Bass Overdrive
Artec bass Wah
Artec 8 band EQ/Chromatic Tuner (all in one pedal, its sweet)

Now I just have to get a pedal board, and then figure out how to chain them. suggestions welcomed

Unfortunately, most of my pedals are on a ship headed to Okinawa with the rest of my belongings so I wont get them till around June.

Going: Well, in addition to the pedals I listed a couple pages back two phasers are being given their walking papers.

Coming: Either a wah or a flanger (we'll see), an EBS TremoLo and a little digital delay.

By small do you mean Lovetone Echo Baby ;)

I'm glad that you've ordered TremoLo, knowing your love for Empress, you are the best man compare these two.

Nope, though I saw that Lovepedal. That's almost too tiny, like the supermini Catalinbreads. ;)

No, I wanted something with clear repeats that wouldn't muddy up a mix as much. I loved the Guyatone MD-3 except for its construction and bypass. Then I remembered that there was a new version. So an MDM5 is headed my way.

Yeah, I wanted to try something different rather than rebuy a pedal I sold. But if it doesn't cut it I'll go back to the Empress. I'll give some thoughts when it shows up.
