The Bassballs is great too, but I never used it too much.

Yep, there are 7 or 8 cascading transistors in the Bit. More gain on tap than most dirt pedals.

Passive P: Volume knob at 9:00.
Active J or P/J: Volume knob at 8:30 (yes this makes a humongous difference)
