presenting: the REAL bass big muff:

nabbed for $50 on Craigslist.

Believe the hype.

:hyper:

$50 = good price

I tracked these babies on eBay for ages before paying far more than $50 for one missing a nob.

The cases are built like a tank but the nobs seem to fall off too easily and I've seem some with the top part of the foot switch missing.

But they sound good, no question.

Might want to wait til the Versa and ISO-5 come out first. I'm pretty sure the PP2+ price will come down a little, or they will revamp it to be in line with these supplies. (crossing my fingers here! :D)

While you wait, you could always daisy chain off the one PP2+ you have.

That is because some people misstreat their gear, I had mine for over ten years, never had anything fall off or get loose, never had any problems of any kind other than that batteries don't last for ever.

Everyone's offing those Hybrid+ pedals it seems. I always felt like the red MessDrive was more interesting sounding despite being less versatile.

Experimenting with various octave pedals this week. I'll wind up with an OC-2, BOD, or keep my micro POG (or have 2 octave pedals but I doubt it).

Yup. This one is in perfect condition for it's age with only a small scratch on the back and the one small chip in the paint near the switch. It still has its metal battery door too.

:D

I'm so stoked for the weekend and a chance to play around with it further. I'm hoping to get some LBM/BBM/GreenMuff clips up at some point soon!

it's a wonderful fuzz, it's just that i have three others :eek:

I like mine, but it's not quite the sound I'm looking for. It's a deep, full, and wide fuzz, but I'm looking for a more raspy, nasty, balls out type fuzz. Maybe one with an oscillator or a feedback loop.

Yeah I feel you guys. I run the red MessDrive in addition to a Bit Fuzz and a Flying Tomato. I love all three but if I had to lose one it would it would be the red MessDrive. It's pretty insane with a blender but it's so insane that it's hard to use with other effects. No idea what on earth I would replace it with in the same size casing though.

Woah, an Ekko 600 AND a 300? What are you going to do with them?
Also, I demand clips of the Seppuku! :D

Yup. :)
In case you don't know me very well here: I have a fetish for delay pedals.
If I like them maybe I'll order a second 300 (set at different preset).
I'm hoping they can replace my love for digital delay.
Maybe I'll end up 300B -> 300B -> 600B
or DD-3 -> 300B -> 600B
or 1 to 3 300Bs in a row.
Not to be used simulaniously, but to have several presets.

I'm at work right now... 8 hours to go to give them a spin.

The Seppuku, I just ordered that to try it out. I'm not expecting much of it at this point.
I'll try to make soundclips (got to learn to work my digital recorder properly.)

Ahh. Yeah, it'd be nice to see some digitally controlled analog delay pedals on the market (although I bet they'd be expensive!). Only thing I can think of that comes close is the TimeFactor, but it's 100% digital, and doesn't get as lo-fi as a true analog delay can. Plus, I don't think it can self-oscillate like certain analog units can.
I'm GASing for one, but mainly because it'd be nice to have tap tempo, preset banks, and to have all three Eventide pedals on one board just for the hell of it. ;)

Also, my Turbo Tuner came in earlier today!
It's a pretty fast tracking pedal and is pretty dead-on accurate! I'm not liking that I have to click the switch to engage it, but other than that it's nice and small and works great. :)

For what it's worth, the Malekko 300 and 600 delays do sound a bit different. The 300 is much better at quick, clean reverb.

I'm all for delay fetish, there are 2 on their way to me right now. Oh, and a Battering Ram. Hooray!
