What was your experience w/ the Keeley? I wrote to them w/ they announced it to ask about the expression functions and didn't get the answer back I was hoping for, but it still looked like it was going to be cool.

Okay, so it's going to be Conical Johnson's new filter. He's now designing effects under the name Iron Ether Electronics and it will be a souped up version of his Xerograph sweepable low pass filter.

What was your experience w/ the Keeley? I wrote to them w/ they announced it to ask about the expression functions and didn't get the answer back I was hoping for, but it still looked like it was going to be cool.

I haven't received it yet. Mine's coming in a custom color so it will be a couple weeks.

I really dig the T.C. phaser I've got now. It's discontinued and a bit rare, but it is designed for bass and keyboards and is very flexible. with a switch for 4/8/12 stages and a waveshaper (peak/notch). I like it enough that I really wasn't looking at any other phasers.

But the Keeley seems tailor made for me. It literally has almost every feature I was asking for in the custom that Mario was going to build me but never had time for:

OTA based
Six Stages
Ramp control like on the Jet Phaser, Halophaze and Maestro PS-1A
Plenty of depth for use on bass

Plus it has tap tempo. I really couldn't help trying one out. On paper it is perfect for me.
