So, after years of searching for a low gain distortion, with which you can still hear the tone of the note with just a very slight distorted sound....my search has ended!
EHX Bass Metaphors...welcome to my family.
I picked it up from Bongo, and the way he had it set up was perfect...I just reduced the amount a of distortion and BAM..the sound I have searched so long for. I guess the only real way to describe the sound is to say it sounds similar to the distortion Les Claypool used on the Primus cover of Have A Cigar.
This pedal actually motivated me to play a lot more now that I have my "dream"sound so to speak! woooohhoooooo

Dude, Canaries in a QTron....that video was EPIC. I wish I got paid to mess around with pedals all day and see what cool sounds they could make.

That "one fuzz pedal" is actually like 6 fuzz pedals (all with chaos modes!)

In: Hmmmmmmmmm....hopefully something. Decided tonight at practice that I not only need another fuzz on my board (Musket?), but also another OD besides the Gemini Drive (Pork Loin, OCD, some other Electronix goody perhaps?). I just need more fuzzy "options."

I don't know why I waited so long to get one of these. This is the perfect fuzz for me.
