Just bought a Pharaoh Amps Echo Jr. Another one.

Had one for awhile + really liked it + didn't use it + been hankerin' for a delay for a few months now + Pharaoh is blowing out the brushed aluminium ones for cheap = hello nurse :)

The rest of my pedalboard supplies came. I think I might be buying a pack of larger screws to finish off the hardware. Otherwise, all I need is paint, zip-ties, felt, and christmas lights (decorative lights for any non-christians :)) to finish this thing!

Once you break a barrier like that, it sets a precedent for future purchases. I got all twitchy when I dropped $300 for a Woolly Mammoth. I didn't like the sound and returned it, but it made the $220 I just paid for a Depth Charge no big deal.

My first time breaking the barrier was $300 for a digitech jamman... then I bought a POG for $270... I've been toning it down since though...

Ahh man, that's too bad, oh well! Can I ask why you sold it? The depth charge will be cool to hear though.

For the music I play, it just wasn't getting used, so I sold it to:
1. Fund other GAS.
2. Give it a happy home with someone who will use it.

The Disco-Bob is my favorite envelope filter. It can't do some of the really extreme sounds, but it has a very organic tone that it very attractive. If I was to ever need an enveope filter (other than the EHX Synth that I have now), I'd buy another Disco-Bob.

I'd be a bit timid to drop $400 on an individual effect, but anything under the $300 mark is fair game. This doesn't mean I have to spent $200+, just that it doesn't scare me off like it used to. Since the Woolly Mammoth purchase, I've bought plenty of "budget" pedals too.

$295 is my current peak, for the Blue Berry. Worth it, but I still haven't made the next summit to $500 for a Meatball. Only if I start dressing like Bongo will I take that plunge.

I just recorded two new songs with copious use of my Disco Bob:

Apologies for the super sloppy "drums" on Fallen Arches.

A bunch of parts to put together a booster, a loop for my moogerfooger, and some spare parts. The building plans have been scaled down in order to afford what will be coming... (hopefully... if the waitlist moves along)

Possibly an imic to see if I can get even mediocre recording quality on from it.

And if me driving to edmonton to get them counts as the "post" then my bass, and most of the pedals...finally! (I've been bass and pedal-less for about 2 weeks)

Funny! I'm in the same boat- I know something another TB'er doesn't know about what's in the post to them. :ninja:

Let me guess:

The girl on the left is being shipped to MysticBoo?
Purple Suit to moogboy?
That funky hat to markjazzbassist?

And to jucas;

Sometimes I forget I'm in the "What's in the post" thread. I just got very confused when you started naming nouns, but had no verbs... It makes perfect sense when you realize what thread you're in, but it's the most confusing thing when you're a little sloppy and can't remember where you are. ;)
