What's new in pedal boards?

There is not a whole lot of talk about pedal boards. I've seen some previous threads, but wanted to see what is new and exciting. Anything out there stand out? I have an Emerson board that I really like because it has a power module with two outlets underneath the board. But, I'm looking for something a little bit bigger. I'm hip to Pedaltrain, Mono, Temple, etc. The Temple seems cool, but I would like something with 2 outlets for my Noble and Cioks Sol. I would use the Noble as a power supply but 1) I have some pedals with various voltages and 2) I don't want to run too much power through it. I've seen some flat boards, but I like to put the wiring underneath. I might go with a larger Emerson, but thought I'd see if there was anything else worth looking at.

I like the Temple pedal boards a lot. I like using the quick release plates instead of velcro and the board has a mod to mount a Cioks power supply, a power switch that turns on/off the whole board, and mounted jacks to connect the board to the instrument (input) and the amp/DAW/whatever (output). I run an IEC cable splitter so I can plug in both the Noble and the Cioks.

The underside has room to mount a couple of always-on pedals with the quick release plates, and if I need more DC power adapters than 5 from the Cioks, I can run them from the Noble.

Mine is the small Temple Solo, but if you wanted a bigger board you could go with the Duo or even the Trio.

I have a love/hate relationship with my Temple Audio, loving the options for modules and jacks, but I'm annoyed with how much flexibility I lose with mounting pedals on the top side when I mount a big power supply on the bottom side.

Pedaltrain doesn't have as many in-house accessories, but they've become so ubiquitous, there are a lot of third-party and DIY options. For example, Best-Tronics makes patch bays for Pedaltrains, similar to the Temple or Rockboard Mods.

I'm using a Temple Audio Solo 18 board with the Cioks Hi5 Mod power supply which I then expand with Cioks Crux to power a Line 6 HX Stomp. It works great and is very neat and tidy. The mounting plates are questionable to me. They work well, but making adjustments to the board is a bit of a pain. Ultimately I think I'd still prefer velcro, but I've already gone all-in on a Temple setup that I don't see changing anytime soon.

Sorry if it feels like a resurrection: I was doing a search to see if anyone was selling any TA boards and stumbled across this thread. Maybe this info will help y’all:

1. I don’t use the pedal plates anymore. I can’t leave my pedal order alone, and I get GAS for new pedals… it just became a hassle. I dumped the plates and just use zip ties; rearrangjng my board is now a favorite downtime activity between gigs.

2. TA sells, but you can get at the hardware store, standoff screws that screw into Cioks power supplies. I picked up a set and have given away my extras, but they work a treat. They’re 8mm M4 screws. They might work for other PSs. They leave enough clearance for the thumb screws under your pedals/board deck. Game changing for me. YMMV, HTH!

I got a small pedalpad board. I like the design, and I’ve done some work to customize it as I figure out what I want to do. Since it’s all wood, that’s not too hard. It’s a wood case with a hinged wood board and a removable lid. It has a power switch with lighted led indicator, 1/4” in and out, and a XLR out from the preamp.

On the lower level, I have a clocks DC7, a broughton HPF, and a Jule Simone preamp that pokes through to the top, where I have a Cali76 CB, Fwonk Beta filter, Becos Ziffer overdrive, and OC-5.

l’ll post some pics when I put it back together from the latest mods.

I use the Solo 18 as well, and even cut one to make two small boards, one for an HX Stomp plus a couple of other things, the other for some Aguilar pedals. Regarding the plates, I've found that using 2 or more small plates on larger pedals makes swaps much easier (when plates have to be removed/replaced for positioning). Rather than using the large plate for the Stomp, four small plates work just as securely, and are much easier to remove/clean when the time comes.
