What's next on you GAS list ?

My GAS has been quieted down by some comments from the missus, "Jeez, you have 6 electrics, an acoustic/electric, an acoustic, 2 basses...and yet you still only have 2 hands. Why do you need all that stuff?" And I usually reply,"even if you were a millipede, you still have too damned many shoes," which appears to fall on deaf ears.

Maybe my next bout of GAS should be wife-related...Get A Substitute

Seriously, if I can get away with it in the near future, I'd like to try a Cort Curbow (Mystic Ice). Yeah, I know, not particularly "high end" stuff, but I'm curious about the synthetic construction.

For my Zon Sonus 5-1 to arrive .It is replacing all my basses (I only have two hands).I just need one killer tone .I bought it to replace my Stingray5 because of a bad bad case of tendonitis.Tendonitis never really goes away if you have had it severe enough .I cant play a Fender Jazz or ,water ski without feeling it .Had a Modulus Vintage jazz that was the answer to high action and pain free playing ,but did not have the heaviness of a Stingray 5 .The Zon Sonus 5-1 is my new Stingray 5 plus it will play like a Ferrari.I did like how the stingray played but for me graphite is the key to low action.Not looking to argue differences thats just what Iam gassing for .

A brand new Fodera has been a dream bass of mine for years.... My Emperor Standard 5 is due in January.

After buying/selling/trading like a lunatic for the last few years (look at my profile.... Insane!) I really think the Fodera will cure my GAS for good.

My realistic GAS list (as opposed to my "I just won the lottery GAS list") is headed up by a hollowbody of some sort - if I had the money today, it would be between an Epiphone Jack Casady or a long-scale Gretsch.

At the top of my list is a complete pedalboard. I have the board and a tuner, now I just need an MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe, a volume pedal, and a DI. Eventually an ABY box, maybe a compressor. I also really want a P-Bass special in metallic navy blue with the gold pickguard and rosewood board, but that'll be a while. I love my Schecter Riot-5, just want to add some variety to my rig.
