I bought an ACG EQ-02 preamp to put in my fretless, but for reasons too longwinded to go into here I diverted it into a recently purchased 6 string bass. Since trying one of these preamps I am totally, totally smitten by them, so now I need a ACG EQ-01 to go into my fretless, because it will be a physically better fit, and even more versatile.
Bass wise I'm gassing for a Fireglo Ric 4003.
Amp wise I'm gassing for a SVT Micro VR for a practice amp, or at least a different cab to pair with my acoustic ba200.

I think JE would be pround to hear that.
Not going to going for any Folded Conche 15 and 18 Horns like John, I have no back for that little benefit. if I went that far I would go with Meyers Cabinets.
That should allow me to clean the floor up and sweep all my stomp boxes under a rug somewhere.
If this idea is positively distinguishable and more useful from running the two combos in natural full range Stereo the next incarnation is a ShuttleMax 12.2 with four (4) Neox112's for lows and 1 ShuttleMax 9.2 with Two Neox112's

I Love the Cabs, the Power sections match cabs well, and the Pre Amp versitility if a Tube craps out.
Have never used the EQ in 6 years, I have no comment on that.

A strap extender for my Gibson Flying V bass and effects pedals in the shape of bear traps. Might make some people think twice before knicking them at gigs.
Don't need anymore basses (at the moment!) I have 8 at this point. So I guess next would be a wireless and a fEARful 15/6/1.
I don't *need* another one. Obviously. I've just bought a Schecter, and Aradia, my Frankenstein bass-build should be finished this side of christmas. And I'm going to need to save some money for next year so the band can record an album.
But I keep looking at the pretty little things. And I seem to have the opposite problem to a lot of you: my better half actually tells me I ought to "treat myself" to these things when I mention them.
So...I found out that Epiphone do actually make a neck-through version of the T-Bird after all. (I thought they were a limited run for some reason, as I'd only seen bolt-necks recently) Anyone got any experience with these? I do love the look, and from the one I tried years ago, I'm expecting a sound similar to my EB-3.
A Fender P. I've always wanted one. If anything, my Schecter's just reinforced the desire.
An 8-string. I might have to nip over to the Luthiery forum and ask around...I've had this daft idea of experimenting with converting a cheap P-bass to an 8-string, but I wonder if the neck would cope with the tension. Or if there's anything else I've overlooked.
Oh, and a Laney Nexus Tube. Definitely don't need this just yet, but I've always wanted a tube amp. I just really prefer the sound to tranny amps.
