Gassing for another NEOX 400 112T and 112T Cabinet.
Nothing dramatic about that.
But...
That will launch me into my new Tone Rack 2.0:
2 Wireless
1Korg Tuner
1 Furman Light and Power Unit
1 Digitech 2120
1 Digitech Studio Quad
I would add that to my Yamaha PB-1 (wondered what I was going to do with that?) and 2 Digitech BP8's
Wireless to(>) Yammie:
[where it all began for me in days of yore as the
Tube v. SS Wars began, sounds like I am going
to OB1 reminecing about the Clone Wars, but the
equivilent to this galaxy is Digital Modeling]
(Yammie front out > Tuner)
(keep the Single stage Parametric set on my favorite boost at the ready)
Yammie Cross over split
Lows to: Studio Quad 4 Ch#1>
BP-8>
BP-8(second 12AX7 aids the digestion, using my
favorite setting)>
GB NeoX 400 using both 12AX7 and FET preamps,
no EQ, Low Shape
(3 12AX7's in the path)
Tweeters OFF on Low Stack
Highs to:
2120 (it was this or an Avalon VT737sp)>
Studio Quad 4 Ch#2>
GB NeoX 400 using both 12AX7 and FET preamps,
no EQ, Mid and high Shape.
(3 12AX7's in the path)
I think JE would be pround to hear that.
Not going to going for any Folded Conche 15 and 18 Horns like John, I have no back for that little benefit. if I went that far I would go with Meyers Cabinets.
That should allow me to clean the floor up and sweep all my stomp boxes under a rug somewhere.
If this idea is positively distinguishable and more useful from running the two combos in natural full range Stereo the next incarnation is a ShuttleMax 12.2 with four (4) Neox112's for lows and 1 ShuttleMax 9.2 with Two Neox112's
So what is up with me an GB?
I Love the Cabs, the Power sections match cabs well, and the Pre Amp versitility if a Tube craps out.

Have never used the EQ in 6 years, I have no comment on that.
