What's next on you GAS list ?

Something to handle the power of my new (contest prize) Warwick WA600 amp. I would prefer the Genz Benz Neo2 series cabs, either a pair of the 1x12's, or the 2x12 (probably the 1x12s, for schlep factor). Of course, I am open to suggestions on what else to consider, with portability and price being critical factors, along with sound (must be front-ported). I'm pretty set, with my basses.

Top of my G.A.S. list is to finish my preamp shootout... Have to sell some pedals first though. :hmm:

I've been slowly trying put options, but now I've got the itch to finish my board(s) once and for all. So far: Sansamp BDDI and PBDDI, Rusty Box, VT Bass/DI and Tone Hammer (current). Next I want to try an Enabler and B7K.

5sg.

Ya know folks, I haven't bought any music-based items in about 1 1/2 years... Then I sort of went nuts beginning Black Friday in November. I ordered a Warwick-Rockbass Alien Deluxe 6 (for March 2013 delivery), a B-stock Ken Smith Burner 6 (arrived), a B-stock Kala U-Bass SUB (shipped/awaiting delivery), Gibson Les Paul Studio in Fireburst (arrived), and a Marshall Microstack (awaiting shipment).

I'm currently gassing for a schecter stiletto extreme 5-string bass. I own a 4-string version for my brother's band and because I like how clear and punchy it sounded, I would like to buy a 5-string version for my band. hopefully I will buy one after I get replacement speakers for my old bass cab and a bass head to go with the old bass cab.

Speaking of bass heads, I've been thinking about buying a hartke lh500 for my old bass cab. I plan to get one after I get replacement speakers for my old bass cab. I plan to prepare a half-stack for a rehearsal spot where I rehearse with my friend's band. I currently have a combo amp over there and I don't think it's loud enough. especially since my friend's band consist 3 guitar players(1 to play rhythm, and 2 for harmonizing guitar parts). so which is why I want to prepare a half-stack for the practice spot so that I would be loud enough in the band mix.

As for effects, I have been thinking about buying a new distortion pedal for my bass. I was thinking either I should get a tech 21 oxford or an ebs metaldrive. I do like how they sound. they both deliver warm heavy distorted sounds, but really couldn't decide what to go with. eventually, I'll come to a decision on what to go with. and that's what I'm currently gassing for.
