Okay, planter box #2 is done -
This one was a bit smaller than the first one, so you can still see my workbench under it! That first one was 6 foot long, this one only 4 foot 9 inches. And yes, I use Darth Vader's favorite measuring system......Imperial!
Oh, the odd piece of wood sticking out at the far end was just clamped in my end vice as a stop to shove everything against. It's basically a third hand.
And in place -

Horrible lighting because by the time I get home from work it's like midnight or something this time of year.
Anyways, one more to build and we're done with planter box world. This one only took me about an hour and a half. Like Diresta says - "You go to school on the first one."
The third one I need to film for the YouTube video, so it'll probably take 4 hours.
I also ran out of usable lumber, so I need to visit my daughter for a few more boards. These are all reclaimed cedar fence boards from my son-in-law who builds fences for a living, and these are from fences he removes. Free wood is the best wood, I don't care what anyone says. I literally have zero dollars in these, unless you count fuel to go visit my daughter who lives half an hour away. But I kinda like visiting her so I don't count that.
My StewMac order is scheduled to arrive Friday, so maybe I can get back to that Telecaster soon. Planter building is on hold for now.
