Oh man, Forest Cat, the cat for the person who says "If only these Maine Coons were...bigger."
Our last Maine Coon was 20 pounds. I don't think this one will get that big, but her dad is 18 pounds and her mom is 16 pounds so you really never know.

I got it from a fellow in my woodturning chapter. He wanted to clear out his wood storage area more than he wanted to hang on to them. I left the 2 full sheets he had of birds-eye maple faced plywood, because building shop furniture out of them just seemed wrong.

One new set I waiting for fully recover my leg and then I will work on new instruments. I have in queue one shortscale project, one 5 strings for me and 2 modern style guitars.

The StratoSock? Maybe that's the solution for the headstock: Put a child's sock over the sagging lump.

My last 3x HB guitar had 1V, 1T, 1 4-pole 5-way blade, 1 4pdt switch. Basically wired like an original rotary PRS (except with a blade), x2, + a bridge HB split for 11 sounds.

I have "cautionary tale" pics. Blush so bad it just laughed at a heavy coat of 50/50 retarder/thinner...

--> Soak rag in thinner, wipe clean, start over.

Installing a new Gotoh bridge on a Fernandes 5. Sidenotes:

*To the best of my knowledge, the hardware is not sold in the US. Jazz Ad found a couple retailers in France and was kind enough to handle the shipping.

*It's been brought to my attention my workbench looks strangely like my ironing board.

It's standard Stratocaster wiring. I bought the whole kit and caboodle as a loaded pickguard from the Stratosphere for like $35. I may eventually upgrade to something better, but these pickups sound ok. I may add a switch which adds the neck PU to any other combo.
