What's On Your Workbench?

I finished the uke bass a few weeks ago, finished my jazz-inspired second WBO entry yesterday, I've got the two tenors and the half scale acoustic pretty much done - just need final setup on all three, which I'll do tomorrow - then my bench will be EMPTY.

I'm kind of freaking out and not sure of what to do next! Too many ideas, I need to pick one and focus...

You know what I'm gonna suggest....Don't you?.....;):bassist:.....

I also know what you're gonna reply...:roflmao:......

But.....You'll think to yourself, "What on earth could old Fat face want me to build him for nothing?......He's got a bloody nerve....I'll ignore him......Wonder what it was though?"......

And then, like a fly to the web, the trap is set!.....(Insert maniacal laughter here)...:)

Thanks all....I was interested to see if octavers had been used in the build.....
Still messing with Travel bass ideas.....

Bluetooth headphone connectivity is another ....?...
You would probably need to have a small preamp or headphone amp to boost the signal up to levels needed to drive a little bluetooth dongle but it's certainly possible.

Am I the only one who gets nervous drilling out old holes for larger tuner pegs?

I would love advice.
Please
OK, first I would unbolt the neck from the body to give you more freedom to maneuver, then support the headstock so that it is level. I'm assuming you don't have access to a drill press so we'll go with what you have. The step bit probably won't get you all the way through -- the steps are ~1/4" between steps usually while most headstocks are at least 9/16" thick -- you could ream it out to to the required diameter from either side but you'll have a short space in the center (about 1/16") that's the old diameter. To get that final bit (pardon the pun) I'd go with a twist bit of the desired diameter. A forstner bit would be ideal but those are really a pain to use when not chucked into a drill press.
