Whats so good about Sadowsky!?

In all fairness, I read your post again and it was accurate, and not defamatory. Although I have some reservations about you, I do owe you an apology in this instance.

thats ok, i don't need an anpology , some people are hyper worried about people talking about how an expensive product is put together, as though it's diminishing the products value. in all fairness there's really no such thing as a hand made bass these days, id be very surpised to learn about one that is completly biult 100% by hand. it probably wouldnt play very good either.

that is ******** for a prive of a sad. it should all be made in the sad shop completely.

it reminds od orange county choppers., they send all thier work out and just assemble them cuz they are lazy and are a pretty damn ugly family. LOL.

Well, when your dad kicks off (seriously-heaven forbid)and leaves you all of HIS basses then you can run your mouth about basses costing too much. Well, not then either.
When you bought them.

As for the "sending out" of their work.
Education time!
Lemme see. It's called repeatability, traceability, accountability.
Order let's say 20 bodies and have them all come in exceeding your specs. Thats repeatability.

Traceability comes in when you order those 20 and you don't have to waste your time going through them and pitching the ones that don't meet your specs. Your numbers will be met. and this leads to accountability.
No one to blame but yourself really, but you don't have to miss your sons/daughters/wifes event because you didn't produce enough parts and have to work the next three weekends and 16 hour days to catch up. Someone else does that.

This leads to a high quality product. One actually that has one, if not the best reputation for just that.

Print this in case you didn't get it the first time through.

The process behind what comes out is pointless if the production goal was met and/or exceeded.

The only reason a old Fender is worth so much is because it's old. Not because Leo saved some magic dust and sprinkled it on a few select basses.
I worked with way too many producers and engineers who would rather see a Sadowsky than an old Fender.
Why?? Because they work. Always.

Oh yeah. Here's another thing for you to chew on. Alex Aguilar (Aguilar amps/cabs same guy) built the first Sadowsky pre-amps.
Koch makes the new SA200 amp. Bergantino makes the Sadowsky cabs.
Man doesn't Roger do ANYTHING????
Oh yeah he does!!!!
HE has the magic dust that gets sprinkled into EVERY Sadowsky!

And it's not ********. It's buisness.

Well, in the last 3 or so years of Sadowsky ownership, I have had ZERO interest in buying another bass.

I can't even stand the thought of buying another Sadowsky because that would mean playing the one I already own less and THAT is just unacceptable.

As much as they cost, they save me more.

Couldn't agree more. Since I switched, about a year ago, I have owned 4 and currently have 2. I can't imagine playing another brand, really.

Contentment is a wonderful thing. As is perfection and inspiration.

normally your suggestion would be a good one, and normally you would find that kind of response to those kinds of questions, but this -exact- question has been asked countless times, and answered in good faith just as many.

the search function is a good thing. :) you should know, you're the investigator :D ;)

speaking of which, hey named changed do a search.
