What's the best electricity for metal?

The Monster Cable for bass thread made me think--what kind of electrons do I want circulating around my rig for the best tone? Can my favorite local electric monopoly provide me with boutique electricity? I mean, think about it--you don't spend $250,000 on an Italian sports car and put discount shopping club gas in it. Should I look into something in a higher voltage for metal? Maybe something coal-fired for country staples by Loretta Lynn? What about those peaceful acoustic tunes that you play sitting on the banks of a river--hydro power? Will solar power bring out the mids better on Jack Bruce's lines in "Sunshine of Your Love"?

I think I've been missing out on the secret to great tone.

If the metal is Copper, I'd say Alternating Current (AC) is the best type of Electricity for that.
If the metal is Aluminum, I'd choose Direct Current (DC), because Aluminum has a higher Resistance to Current flow.
