GK makes the MB410 500 watt combo. And you can connect a powered 410 500 watt extension cab for 1000 watts of bass thunder.

True, here's what they look like together. Less than 100 lbs total 8x10's & 1000 watts when and if needed.

Maybe not the biggest, but at 141lbs, these Roland DB-900s were a monster.

They definitely are, but once you own one you'll find it hard to get rid of it. I've had one since 2002 and the only complaint I have (besides the weight) is the tone. It's very "meh" but it is very powerful at the same time.

The Phil Jones road case is 700watts pushing 12 drivers. But they are 6" drivers.

Yeah 15X19X36 inches isn't all that large, actually.

I think that is a correct pic for a GP11 time period. Trace Elliot had history in the UK before it ever became well used in the States. Also, remember that Ashdown was the Trace Elliot crew when the TE company was sold.

I have had a King Combo with the sealed 8x10, not ported, that was built into a ozite covered flight case with industrial tilt back rollers. I drove a light truck with a canopy on it at the time and had no problems with it. It was easier to have someone on both sides sliding to the end of the tailgate and ease it down to the ground. From there it's tilt and roll. I never had a gig on top of Mt. Everest so I never had a problem.

Yes...I grew up in the uK and 80s Trace Elliot was my go to rig.....I remember this one and it would have been covered in Tolex...Wish I could find my old catalogues......But you could be right and it be before my time....but I see this one has been made road ready with metal edging and hinges for a front door...so maybe was more like a Mesa road ready finish
