Early '70's Datsun something...with numbers.
Same color, very much like this one except....well......worse.

Had it for a little less than a year.
Really don't know where to begin here.
Trepidation every time I went out to get in it.
A lot of electrical problems.
No interior lights.
No dash/instrument lights.
AM Radio only static the few times it did work.
Blown fuses all the time.
Headlights went out once just after dusk. Went to the auto parts store and put in a new fuse. Headlights came back brighter than ever. Really, Reeeaaly bright. A couple minutes down the road from there, a funny burnt smell and the magic smoke coming out from under the dash. No more lights.
Finally got her home in stealth mode.
Wouldn't start on cold mornings...hell on most mornings.
I think I went through more starting fluid than I did gasoline.
Thats when I began to appreciate the side benefits of ether.
Wouldn't start if someone was sitting in the passenger seat. It would just click. As soon as said person raised up, it would (at least try to) start.
Never figured that one out.
Mt. Fuji would erupt from the cars radiator at regular intervals.
Brakes....never could get the right front to grab right. I could literally turn in to my parents driveway with no hands on the steering wheel just by stomping on the brake pedal.
Good times.
My brother at that same time had the early '70's Vega that's been mentioned before. He had his share as well.
On a quiet night you could hear them trying to out rust each other.
