Whats the worst combo you've ever owned?

People seem to be knocking Peavey a lot here.
I can get great tone out of a Peavey TNT130. Fully Parametric Mids are a good way to create god awful sounds if you don't quite know what you're doing.
My GK/Bag End rig was still broken down from a gig when we rehearsed last night.
Put my double bass's piezo straight into the peavey and had a great practice tone.

Crate. Don't own it but that's what we have to use at our church..... Yeah, werkin on fixing that!
My first "real" amp was in like 1992-- a Crate BX80. Pretty bad. But we all start somewhere! It was my amp all the way up through freshman year of college.
I didn't own it (thank God!), but my buddy had a tiny Ibanez 25 watt "bass amp" with a coaxial speaker...I found out the hard way it sucked ass when I asked him if I needed to bring my practice amp to his place to jam and he said..."no, I have a bass amp for you to play through."
On the other hand, my little Carvin 100 watt 1x10 was pretty decent for practicing. It'd get lost on a stage but it was made for acoustic gigs & practice anyways.

Must feed zombie thread!! Both my 1983 Roland BN-60 (a decent practice amp with chorus but insufficient SPL for a bar band) and 1986 Peavey Combo 300 (a fine sounding amp that weighed about 80 lbs. and had no side handles) have received votes, and my 1991 Ampeg SVT-100 (solid state, constantly rattling, blowing speakers, and having the knobs fall apart) should have received at least a nod, but the crown jewel in my collection of questionable "combos" was my late 70's boom box with the bass plugged into the "mic in" mini plug. Whooee--two watts of raging fuzz tone through two 4" speakers!

Not bashing Peavey - just so happens that the worst combo I had though was a Peavey. I believe it was a 300w monster with an 18" speaker. It made the tweeter look tiny. That thing was massive and heavy and had ZERO transients. Thick muddy tone it had but man was it heavy. It wouldn't fit in my car unless I moved the seats way forward.
Its a toss-up between two
1. A little trace elliot single 10in 30w practice amp, my first amp (no definition at all)
2. a peavy keyboard amp that i used for marching band back in highschool 100w 15in and a tweeter and I cant even begin to describe the filth that spewed from that piece of trash
I didnt know anything about good bass sound until i got and ampeg half stack

I owned a Behringer Ultrabass BXL3000. Not a horrible amp. I gigged with it for a year or so. My two complaints about it were that it did not seem to have the 300W it claimed and that it was really really heavy and awkward to carry.
Carvin BR 600 15 bought new played to gigs, at 3rd volume and it just quit. Did not have time to send it to calif. Took it to Austin had it look at, found some broken solder joints. Had it fix sold it as quick as I could.
Yep, more Behringer hate. 
I got a Behringer bass combo, I think it was an "Ultrabass 600", 60 watts, 12" (or was it a 10"?) aluminum-cone speaker, and monitor-style wedge cab. I got it as a 'combo deal' when I bought a used bass on craigslist.
I was surprised at how feeble 60 watts was on bass. Had to down the downslope thing on the graphic EQ to get a 'bassy' tone, but even then, just....weak.
I sold it for $60 or $70 to a college kid, and honestly I felt kind of bad about it. He said he wanted it to play with a band, I even told him it may not be loud enough, but he figured he could mic it up if he needed more volume.

Toss up between a Crate 115 (no idea what model) and, believe it or not, an Aguilar (no idea what model). The Crate was huge and farty, the Aguilar was hissy and crispy, and both sounded awful.
I'm very happy my Ampeg BA300, my Ashdown ABM500 EVO II (an old Brit-made one), and my little Fender with the headphone jack has been great for years and years.
