Man this is the sig. bass of Xavier Padilla who's playing with the Gypsy Kings. Do you know anything about this bass? I can't believe my eyes. How can it be real?

Naw, chum. Something about the way it's designed keeps that from happening. I don't remember what, but I remember reading up on this type of neck a few months back. Any more knowledgeable TBers who can shed some light on this?

Id love to try one of these, as well as a fanned fret bass. Both claim theres little to no learning curve, in fact both claim their easier on your wrists.

The fanned fret basses do look quite nifty... looks more appealing to me than the twisty necks, too.

Yes now i got it. Thank you and i'd use the help of such a construction too, as a player having issues with the wrists. Very cool idea indeed. But i'm not sure if my fav. makes would add such designs to their products. By the way, Mr. Padilla's bass sounds like it has nylon strings on it
