Whats with G&L? Prices way down?

OK i see USA G&L basses on ebey selling for $700 or just above that. Why? Thats just a bit more then a Fender Mexican. I know list on the one that just sold was $2299.00 sold last year for $1599.00 and now on Ebay second hand for $700. Whats with this?

If you're paying more than $350 for a MIM Fender, you're getting robbed.
