People like this are why I cannot wait until I can move out to the middle of nowhere, with no one around. The whole car audio ****ing contest is wearing a little thin.

wow, wigger? i wonder what that implies? i thought that term went the way of the funky bunch!!!
not for nothing kids, but some of the noise pollution comes from the metal heads too!!! not to mention the lucky ones that still sport their IROCs and CC Music Factory (yes they still exist!)
I have a habbit of laughing and pointing at these fools and often commenting on how they think thats bass!
unless you want trouble, i'd suggest minding your own biz! you never know what your gettin into.... i agree on the mating call thing... that and some dude are just waiting for someone to say something! pick your fights, carefully!
anyway, im sure, in TX you can just shoot these fools! (i'm kidding, pls don't ban me!)
Discharge a large voltage into the body of a car all at once, short out the ENTIRE electrical system, rendering both the car and its associated irritatingly loud stereo inoperative, until replaced.
Not for nothing, but while I've been irritated by fans of all types of music when they're IN the vehicle. The only transgressors of the "park it and leave it on in a public location (such as a gas station)" have been universally listening to the same "music".
Yesterday I had this happen to me. It happens frequently round here, but yesterday it was surreal.
I'm at the gas station, and there's this $600.00 car with a $12,000.00 sound system in it, blasting out polka music, but the lyrics were in Spanish. I mean, it didn't even come close to rocking. Not at all. It was the stuff that somebodies old Polish grandmother would listen too.
I'm not a big fan of other people blaring their loudass music at gas stations, car washes, or in the parking lot of the dollar general, but Spanish Polka music?? C'mon! How bout a little easy listening music at 400db??

maybe, given your demographic, i guess.... BUT, IME, slipknot and korn get just as much gas station air time as Biggie and JayZ.
i play in a hip-hop/R&B/funk group. we have some MCs, that look the part and believe me the topic has come up! my buddies would agree, it's a "hey baby, look at me! i'm hung like a light switch" kinda mating call.

I really believe that this stuff just boils down to plain old disrespect for other people. There is now just a population of pussys running around too afraid to stand up for Their rights to do anything about asshats like this guy.
If someone would have taught him manners and respect for others when he was little, this crap wouldn't happen. Or if someone was man enough to walk up to him and say " turn that down or I'm gonna put the boots to ya" I bet he would get that message and that would be the end of that.
Kids backtalk their parents, teachers, school bus drivers, etc. and get away with it, that's where the disrespect was learned. Smarting off to my parents would have got me the belt, sassing a teacher would have got me a wack in the principals office. Point is - there used to be consequences for bad behavior - not anymore.
I'm all for hip-hop man, the "real deal" stuff is very hip, especially the guys workin' with a live rhythm section.
And it's not that bad here, but man, when I lived in Orlando, and even worse, Baton Rouge...:scowl:
Really, the only time ive seen someone cranking there music and leaving the car running, was when it was a yo boy and he had rap music blaring.
Actually, it's VERRRRRY rarely I ever hear metal (and no not crap like KoRn) coming loudly out of somebody's car period.
People really don't think beyond the obvious, do they?
Last I heard, even a 4 year old could pull a trigger.
