My Telecaster is called “Ervine”, because somebody in the Fender factory wrote it under the bridge with a fine permanent marker. None of my basses have this!

No. I didn't even name my own children...
At one point I told myself I'd name my bass when I had it for 10 years but it's now 17 or so and remains an unnamed bass that I enjoy.
Oh yeah and this haunted G&L SB1 (that stalked the previous owner in his sleep and gave him nightmares) calls itself "Slimer". 
Nah....my basses are "tools of the trade". So, no names but still loved and played.
I just refer to mine by their make/model, because they are inanimate things.

My bass says she hates it when people anthropomorphize her.
My bass zoomorphizes me when she thinks I'm an ass for not having picked her up in a while.
But it's pronounced "Throatwobbler Mangrove."Mine has Geddy Lee’s name on it.
If I did, the Fender would be Freddy, the Gibson would be Mel and the Warwick would be Dionne.
