What's Your Bass/Guitar's Name?

It seems as though there is a very particular reason.

I suppose in a technical sense, but it only became named as a result of me goofing around with a label maker.

I retired Thunderfury a few years back, and have been happily gigging with Caesura. My most recent acquisition, a 10 string named Zar'roc, is my backup I take to gigs. Many points to gryffindor if you can spot the theme in the names.

Nobody has a named bass. Only nobody knows its name. I did ask Black Bart, Elle, Death of Rats, and Mournblade Bob if they knew it but all I got were blank stares. One of the seething souls in Bob's baleful burl may have winked but I can't be certain — didn't have my beer goggles on, at the time.

Yes I name my basses after females from Greek Mythology.

I learned working on the farm don't name what your going to kill. And I plan to play my basses to death!

The government make us name our boats. Which if find a bit odd. My boat/home is the Lilioukalani. And I did not name her. Sailboats are all girls though.

Looking at the "<<<<"s, I thought somebody had a bass called supporting member. Does it have a truss rod?

My basses name was “missy” until my brother married one (the girl form, not the bass) had a really bad divorce, and winces at the name.

It’s now just the red bass
