This is so hard. Probably a fight between Gnomeratron, EHX BMS and maybe EBS Dphaser as of right now. Got a modded Year4545 coming so that might shake things up a bit haha!

If we include preamps I would say my Tonehammer, as much for practicality as for tweaking. Other than that it would be my Mad Professor forest green compressor. Not just a utility, as someone implied above, it really does amazing stuff with my tone.
Okay guys! Tone shaping pedals like the vt bass and bddi don't count unless you use them as a distortion pedal.

On topic, do multis count? If so, I'll go w/my ancient Ibanez UE-405, mostly for the Maxon-made analog delay.

I guess I forgot how cool everybody is on this forum. Around town I tell people I like to use a Tube Screamer and 9 out of 10 times I get "that's a guitar effect! How could that be good for bass."
Dumb asses.
But you guys are obviously way hipper and know the sweet tonal possibilities that come with a "guitar pedal."
If just one pedal- Morley Power Wah/Boost, though I might find a way to sneak my Tronographic Rusty Box somewhere (I could probably fit it inside the Morley!)...
