What's your favorite coffee?

Black. And if you can see through it, it's too weak.

If there is no crema on top, you are doing it wrong ;)

I never drink coffee black personally...always some sort of cream in it..

I like to go to my supermart that has all the coffeebeans in separate containers and a grinder.

All the containers are marked as to what bean it is and strong/mellow rating...

So I experiment ....making my own mixtures of beans......

Always ground "fine"....for best flavor.....

Another Dunkin Donuts guy here. At home it's Folger's morning blend. I hate Starbucks coffee and think all people who drink Starbucks are addicts who fell prey to their evil ways of over caffeinating people and getting them addicted. They knew exactly what they were doing, and it worked. Then they flooded the internet with stupid crap that 4 cups of coffee a day is healthy!

Gonna restring my bass now :).

I drink coffee a lot less than I used to (as it was interfering with my sleep), but when I do, I like it strong and black...espresso, americano, or strong black coffee. I have a stovetop espresso maker (or whatever they call it in Italian), two French presses, two Haro drip style things, and a not so great burr grinder. Too much junk for someone that just has tea most days...

Fun fact, French roast, Italian roast, Spanish roast, and other very dark roasts were used in Europe to mask all the unpleasantness of very bad cheap coffee. When you have great beans, it's always better to do a much lighter roast so you can actually taste all the subtleties of the coffee.

Freshly ground World Market Sumatra beans in a French Press. Bang for the buck baby!

EDIT: $9.99 for a pound and a half. Try getting a 10oz bag of Indonesian beans at that place with the mermaid for that!

"Steep and brew," a local brand, french roast, fairly strong, black. Sometimes I'll make espresso with the same beans. Regular electric coffee maker with paper filter.

The other thing is that I grind the beans quite fine. All of this sounds quite "particular," but none of it takes more than a minute in the morning.
