What's your favorite conspiracy?

One of my all time favorites has to be that some Doors fans to this day, still beleive that Jim Morrison faked his own death. Heck some folks probably think Jim was in hiding and got ahold of Elvis to help the ' King' fake his death as well.

Oh, and:

Anything discussed on Coast To Coast AM. The silly crap some people believe!

I love that radio show..

I used to have to listen to it all night long when I was living with my dad. I used to get a good laugh out of some of the callers.

Funny thing: I was playing a game called "Prey" and I heard his voice in it, Art Bell was playing himself and he was taking calls from people experiencing alien encounters, during certain parts in the game you would run into a radio and you could sit there and listen to a segment of the show.

/OT rant, sorry.

My guitarist is a 911 Truther and he and I discussed it in length on a 3 hour car trip. Reminds me of a religion where a huge leap of faith is required. He says explain how the jet engine was placed at the Pentagon but was way too small. Supposed to be 9 tons etc etc.

Anyone know a good website that thoroughly debunks the 911 conspiracy?
http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/ a site which lampoons the morons and idiots who promote that garbage has links to lots and lots of legitimate debunking sites.

The 911 conspiracy theories are insulting and disrespectful of the dead, they are offensive and disgusting much like Holocaust denial.

David Icke. My favorite as well! :)

Davis Icke is brilliant, he used to be Goalkeeper (Soccer) over here, I remember the first time he went on TV with his views - the interviewer didn't know what hit him, then over thenext few days people realised he wasn't drunk or mucking about !!.

Otherwise, my favourite consprices are:

That the Moon exists.
Eskimo's are real.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is Governor of California.
:hmm:How bizarre are those stories:hmm:

That you can run engines using water as fuel and the auto industry is suppressing this knowlege and even killing people who try to reveal this information.

Long time ago a physics teacher of mine told me a story.A russian scientist invented a technology that allows the cars to move by the power of the magnetic field of the world. If the car loses power all you need is to recalibrate the frequency(?) and there you go.
His lab burnt down with him.No information from the research was saved.

Oil companies? KGB?

:ninja:

Nikola Tesla (born Serbian, but a naturalized American) was a man who understood the nature of electricity better than anyone before or since. This man invented AC current, FM, you might say the whole of the power structure of our society. Yet it seems many of his patents have been squirreled away for military use only.

Tesla was a genius - no conspiracy there.

But the one I like is that it's ALWAYS the military that seems to be hiding some sort of remarkable, highly advanced technology, alien technology, alien bodies, super-secrets that can destroy the planet... but of course only they use any of it for evil purposes..
if it were true, then whichever military possessed it should rule the world no?
