Whats your favorite Effect you got going on?

I have to answer this two ways:

Subterranea -> MF-101 -> wholly clone -> empress comp -> ToneHammer -> MF-104Z -> Context -> MF-108 -> Timeline.

The bypass status varies as do knob settings, but this is my favourite all time chain. I mean the most usable of the effects I own that produce inspiration just because of the way they sound together.

Specifically, if I use the sub, filter and reverb with a slow sweeping gate signal controlling filter frequency I nail "the Moog synth sound". Otherwise anything that helps my envelope become less like a bass and more like a synth is fun too. Mostly been messing with that.

I love my pedals, almost as much as that feeling from playing in your finger tips when they are raw!

If you could keep just one overdrive/distortion pedal from everything you've had up until now, what would it be?

1. Octavious Squeezer
2. mark bass super synth
3. brown dog agent funk

I run a boss LS 2 with the OS on 1 channel into TASF
and the super synth on the other channel so I can blend clean with effect and out of the LS2 into the brown dog into Agent funk then to DD6
sound great to fill in the sound we only have 1 guitarist.

I got a Pigtronix Philosopher Bass compressor just before Christmas. I'd been using a Demeter Opto Compulator for over a year, but this was the comp I'd wanted from the beginning and finally found it at a great price. It's always on, and I think I have a great setting dialed in, but I'm still having fun tweaking it.

Im one of those people.

Ive never had the B3K. Its the only DG pedal I havent tried. Well, I havent tried the older ones but I do have a Harmonic Booster on the way ;) But yes, IMO, it does make a HUGE difference and its worth every penny and so much more (the B7K. Well, any of their pedals are.) The B7K is my tone. I stack it with a few other tone shapers but its the key to my sound. And it makes all my dirt pedals take on a whole new dimension and life, a whole new voice and character. It gives them depth and more bite. Without it, everything seems bland because Ive been playing with it for a couple years now. Love it dude. Love it. It will most likely never leave my board. And if I stop using a board, I will just use the B7K.

How do you yourself use it? Gigs through a PA? Home practice? Directly into the amp or through an effects loop? Sorry to keep bugging you...!

You're not bugging me at all man, that's what the forums for!! :)

I use it as a clean preamp. It's almost at the end of my chain. I use it as a regular pedal preamp in the chain ya know. I don't use the DI. I use it for its voice, the EQ and the flavor. Love that DG flavor. Then my board is plugged into the IN on the front of my amp. That's how I do.
