Without your love of a particular bass and it's sound, what is, from a design perspective, your favorite headstock?

From a technical design perspective, the Ibanez SR. Angled, so no string tree; Nice and small (light); Strings go straight through the nut slots; 2 + 2 tuners results in a short length of string past the nut. It's perfect.

I've always been a fan of the classic clean Fender, Sadowsky, Music Man.

A lot of cool designs out there. Also a fan of Rickenbacker & Gibson.

Fender is probably my favourite, and although I don't own one I love the Music Man headstock. I also like Warwick.

Agreed on all counts. The shorter overall length is also a benefit of the 2+2 design.

Was actually thinking of posting this myself, really nice 3d effect, smooth and flowing contour. Overall really clean and well designed, should sell it to a big name like Fender! (though they are all about cost effectiveness and imo it shows- their headstocks are OK but pretty bland)

I like the Ibby's but feel like they are a bit small for a bass. I think if they increased size by 10% it would look so much better.
