What's Your Favorite TOOL song?

I love the cut of Pupoopie on Salival. And Lateralus is so moving. All of them are special to me in one way or another, though. I love that band something awful.

Considering i am in a Tool tribute band i cant really pick one. So i will go with Categories

Favorites to Play. = Forty six and 2, Aenema, The Pot, Sweat.

Song the crowd loves to hear the most. = Sober, The Pot, Stinkfist, 46 and 2

Favorites to listen to. Lateralus, Schism, Intension, Jambi, HWAP, Reflection, Third Eye, Right in two, Damn this could be one long ass list.


Tool is that band. For me anyways. Its the band that when your listening to Aemema...then Aenema is the best album ever released. And then you put Lateralus in and you realize that Lateralus is better than Aenema. Then you put in Opiate...etc etc etc...and it goes in circles. For me anyways. Its always been that way. For some people Metallica has never done anything wrong...for some its Led Zeppelin...for some its Rush. For me...Ill take Tool.

+1 there's only one other band aside from tool that's like that for me.

Tool is on of those bands that makes me wish that i could write music that makes other people feel the way i do when i listen to them

Tool is my all time favorite band ,so it's hard to pick just one!
I guess I'd have to say the patient. I had all kinds of crappy life experiences when Lateralus came out, and it seemed like that song was written just for me. But , they have so many great tunes. It all depends on what mood your in.

Aenema without a doubt. The way it transitions through each part is almost like the way that a symphony goes from one movement to the next. Maynard's vocals are amazing and his lyrics speak to me in a cynical, frustrated way that I can identify with. Not to mention the rest of the band......
