Whats your favourite guitar maker?

I'll never sell my Martin D-28 or my Tele.

Although I wouldn't mind adding a Suhr Classic Tele (right down the street, John makes a mean guitar), Wilkins WRT (Pat has some of the most amazing finishes in the business) or a Crooks Relic Paisley down the road. Oh, and my Teles need to have maple fretboards or it's not really a Tele to me.

Bass
I'd have to say Fender, just for the simple fact that I haven't played a better P bass from other makers IMO. That said, I'd like a tasty Sadowsky or Valenti Steroid Jazz bass.

Electric Guitar
Toss up between Gibson and Fender, but to be fair I'm not a guitar nut. I like the strat sound but they always sound terrible when I play them. Nothing gets better than a nice ES-335, but good luck finding a nice one.

I would have to say PRS. My friend has a PRS with the most amazing oiled rosewood neck.

I have to go with IBANEZ. I've owned 1 Fender, 1 G&L, 2 ESP, an old Vox, and 4 Ibanez basses. Theres just no beating an Ibanez SR neck/electronics IMO.
