Just bought an Orange TB500 so it's going to be a while, but I'm always on the lookout for a Fender Tele Bass.

Two things.
Like TheNecatoR: a Fender Japan bass VI, but I don't want a Pawn-shop (I really need the chrome plates and the standard pickups, it's all for "da blingbling")
A sixties-modelled sunburst jazz-bass. But that will come in the next months.
Same here. They CAN be imported, but you'll pay big money for that (1200€ at least). As for the modding: can be done, but keep in mind that the control-plate is shaped differently from the Pawn-Shop supersonic, Jaguar,... and the switchplate is with 4 switches instead of 3. I have plans for them that I made a while ago, but I've archived those plans, and I've archived them so well/bad I forgot where I put themI was just going to modify it to get the chrome and the pickups, haha. It's not that easy to get a Japanese Bass VI without selling my kidneys here.
I'm aiming at [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. Ofcourse with all the chrome and blingbling and flatwounds (and springmutes)And about the Jazz, something like this?

And the Pawn-series has a trussrod at the headstock, which I find really ugly, so that's a no-go for me.
