Usually in my four string basses tuned in standard I strung ´em with DR 45-105 in roundwounds. But my five and six basses I ever putted lighter gauges going to 40-100, chosing a 126 or even 130 for the low B (this decisson it deppends a lot of how was built the bass) and a 26 or 28 for the high C.

But lately I moved to 40-100 in my four strings ´cause I have pain in my right hand and I need playing softer for avoid injuries, and a ligther gauge helps me a lot. By the way I haven´t change the gauge of my six string bass.
