what's your recording process?

sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but my band is currently recording, main piece of gear is a boss br-1600. do you record everyone at once or do you do everything seperately and try and link them up later in q-base?

We usually try to track guitar, bass, and drums at the same time. The primary focus for us is to get a "keeper" drum track. If we get that, then putting the other instruments down to the good drum track is no problem. Sometimes we get lucky and get multiple keeper tracks on one pass. It's rare, but it sure keeps things moving along.
