I'm guessing my wife would wholeheartedly agree... still asks me when I'm going to grow up.

Mine knows better than to ask me questions like that. We both enjoy being young at heart __ at our age.
I went pro years ago! It was the four-day stretch i had between quitting one day job and starting another, and I had a paying gig in between.

A kid tells his father he wants to learn to play the bass, so he sets him up with lessons. The father asks how the first lesson went, and the kid says “I learned the first 5 notes on the E string.” The following week, the father asks how the lesson went, and the kid says “I learned the first 5 notes on the A string.” The next week, the father asks how the lesson went and the kid says “I didn’t go to the lesson – I had a gig!”
