Frankly, even if you're a big man, it's much easier to hold a small bass.

that bass has very short scales

Putting ketchup on a hot dog is wrong thoughSome people think it’s wrong to wear sndals with socks, some people think it’s wrong if you put ketchup on a hot dog, and some people think it’s wrong letting your kids ride in the back of your pickup truck.
Hey, if you’re comfortable with a short-scale bass or even one of those tiny hilarious-looking uke basses, just do you!
some people think it’s wrong if you put ketchup on a hot dog,

MOTHMAN!“I play the largest guitar on stage! All genuflect before me or feel my wrath!!”
Felt like it had to be said.
Over the past few years I have seen a number of disparaging remarks about short scale basses and the people who play them. People calling them toys or insisting that whoever plays one should man up and play a real bass. There's always a few who have to drag people down to make themselves feel better. In other words pathetic idiots.
Sheesh, isn't there so many other important things to shame?
