When did "Short Scale Shaming" become 'a thing'???

Add Stanley Clarke And Mike Watt to that list.

Also I was of the impression that shaming short scale basses and players of them was mostly a thing of the past and that short scale basses and playing short scale bass have become gradually more and more accepted on line with normal 34" scale basses, as more and more quality instruments in that category has entered the market, though some people admittedly still seem be stuck in the past and buying in on the myth that short scale basses are somehow lesser instruments played only by amateurs.
