Another sad part of this case is they were never able to charge Coueys mobile home mates as accomplices. They HAD to know what was going on for those three days he had her in the trailer

No kidding!! The metal thing they put on their heads wasn't making good contact so it was burning the tops of their heads off!! I think they went to lethal injection. I need to find out if old sparky is back online or whats going on.

By the way, I expected more from your fire ants. Felt a little bite on my toe while I was fishing, and thought that it couldn't be a fire ant because it didn't really hurt that bad. My FIL tells me, yep, it's a fire ant, they don't hurt bad but they leave a blister on you for a few weeks.

Don't even get me started on the Cuban tree frog I picked up to show my son last year.

Fire ants suck. I found a once a year treatment that works great for my yard. Nothing worse that realizing your standing on a fire and mound. They all crawl up your leg, give the signal and bite at once
They usually itch for a day, then leave a pimple looking mark for about a week. That was your Florida souvenir Frogs, spiders, snakes, mole crickets, reptiles, stingrays, ...........we have plenty of critters to keep you on your toes!!

Whilst what his did was abhorrent, I think torturing him to death would do little than bring you down to his level.
I would lock him in solitary confinement, with suicide watch for the rest of his life - he can live out his remaining years dwelling on what he did.

I say torture him for the rest of his life, but give him hope that some day he will be out. Make sure to repair his wounds and maintain at least 30 more years of wasted life.
You don't think that being locked away and having to mentally relive what you did for the rest of your life would be torture.
I think death would be more humane, and would eliminate any chance of escape.
Why? He'd probably be FANTASIZING about what he did. Don't make the mistake of assuming that everyone has the same level of humanity and compassion as normal people.
