Been using these for three years. Read my post. There’s clear degradation, as I said, but not enough to be consequential in most live applications. It can be corrected for.

The x-vibe system I don’t use because my basses are active. I returned another system because it wouldn’t pair correctly. They are not perfect but the price difference is simply not worth the small quality issues combined with the massive inconvenience of having to wear a body pack while wearing a dress.

To me it’s a massive waste of money with virtually no added value but people are free to spend their dollars as they see fit.

Try wearing two body packs. I do. One for bass one for in ears.

For those with multiple guitars, do you move the transmitter from guitar to guitar or do you have multiple transmitters and a single receiver? I am looking at trying to set multiple transmitters to the same ID/Frequency/Channel and only having one active at a time. But I don't know if that would work. Plan to experiment but thought maybe someone had already done the work for me.....

I've got two sets of the Lekato wireless and each pairs usually syncs fine. Sometimes the second pair doesn't sync, so I'll switch the transmitters and pair it with the opposite receiver, which fixes the issue, but that doesn't happen often.

Yeah, that's a big issue for me with the more expensive wireless systems and one of the major conveniences of the direct plugin devices. I wear dresses on stage, no place to put the pack unless I want to truss myself up with something under my clothes or put in on my strap, which I don't. Not worth the hassle for the kinds of shows I do.

Nice! Good luck with the "doctors" :)

Story of my life: They could make it work, but out in the wild, I could not. Sent it back, looking at a Shure setup. GLXD 16. I still have my Boss transmitter/receiver, which is convenient, except the guitar player who recommended it to me also has one, and every now and then I plug it in and the signal comes out of his amp. Do I complain? I do not! He's a showman. The ladies hump him on the dance floor. I'm a bass-player. On the rare occasion a lady rubs her parts on me, I worry about keeping the groove. There's this one venue where an adult woman (she told me she's 52) rubs her parts on me while telling me she doesn't want her dad to see her doing it.:D

Yeah, all of this is why I like the $60 option that (almost) always freaking works!

I love going wireless! I have a NADY 201 True Diversity system that I bought in 1989. It is a VHF system using frequency 209.15 MHz. It only has ONE channel! This unit has been bullet proof. Other than replacing the wall wart a few times, re-soldering a cold joint on the receiver circuit board (once about ten years ago) where the 1/4" input jack is and recently re-soldering the wire in the body pack's 1/4" jack it has been unbelievably reliable. Just the usual wear and tear of using it. I NEVER have any dropouts due to the True Diversity design (two receivers in the VHS tape sized receiver) that switch back and forth if needed to prevent it. Even a NADY rep said I have one of the best systems they ever made. I use EBL 9V rechargeable batteries, which are fantastic, and it has an incredible range of 1500 to 1600 feet! Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor would be proud. I have tested that range as well. Only one time have I not been able to use it because of interference in the area we were playing and I have used it all over the US and in Canada. I hope I never have to replace it.

The best, most reliable system ever made! I wish they'd rebuild that EXACT system with some minor tweaks for modernization.......but they SHOULD NOT mess with the RF circuit.

That would be great! I NEVER have to worry about it dropping out (as long as the battery is good). It's a fantastic system. I'm even looking to see if I can find another one...just for fun.
